This Policy was developed to ensure that implementation of child rights which are universally recognised and strengthening the quality and effectiveness of basic education. The policy also refeclts two important considerations in educational development in Cambodia including assuring equity of education and attracting participation from all institututions, agencies and individuals jointly to support the program. The Child Friendly framework covers six components: All chidren have access to schooling; effective learning; health, safety and protection of children; gender responsiveness; the particpation of children, families and communities in running of their local schools and the national educational systems support friendly schools.
