The workshop familiarizes participants with the ICPD Programme of Action and framework of reproductive health, helps participants identify how their organizations' programmes fit within this broadened reproductive health framework, and assists participants to develop strategies and action plans for expanding and integrating organizational activities in the area of gender, reproductive health and/or advocacy.
This is a do-it-yourself manual to assist concerned government officials and members of civil society to design and implement their own advocacy initiatives. Though specific examples have been designed for population and reproductive health advocacy issues in the South Pacific countries, the manual can serve as a guide to advocacy for other issues in other places.
