Four types of social franchising models for youth: joint venture, community, private provider, and governmental are described including observations and suggestions for next steps in the field of social franchising and youth. It is intended to help policymakers both here and abroad to better understand the need for continued efforts to reduce fertility and population growth rates, even in the wake of the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
