    The iCAN package aims to help address the challenges facing adolescents and young people living in the East and Southern Africa (ESA) region. It has been designed to support young people living with HIV (YPLHIV) and those who work with them, to help them understand their HIV positive status and empower them to plan their lives in ways that protect both their own health and that of others.   5. Our rights matter too: sexual and reproductive health and rights of young key populations in Asia and the Pacific

    This regional report for Asia and the Pacific, provides an overview of the sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) needs, issues, and priorities of young key populations (YKP), i.e. young men who have sex with men, young transgender people, young people injecting drugs, young people who sell sex, and young people living with HIV. The report addresses the gaps in knowledge on the SRHR needs of YKP in the region, offers recommendations based on a regional study, and contributes essential information for policy and advocacy efforts.

    Le but de la stratégie nationale est de contribuer à améliorer la santé en général, la santé de la reproduction en particulier, et le bien-être des adolescent(e)s/jeunes. Trois objectifs généraux sont retenus: 1. Améliorer l’accès des adolescent(e)s/jeunes à des services adaptés à leurs besoins; 2. Aider les adolescent(e)s/jeunes à adopter des comportements responsables et à prendre des décisions adéquates; 3. Créer un environnement social, législatif et réglementaire favorable à la promotion de la santé des adolescent(e)s/jeunes en général et de la santé de la reproduction en particulier.

  10. Adolescent sexual and reproductive health: an evidence gap map

    This report presents the findings of an evidence gap map that assesses the evidence available on the effects of adolescent sexual and reproductive health (ASRH) programming in low- and middle-income countries. It documents the methods used to create the map and examines evidence clusters and gaps identified in it. While there is considerable amount of impact evaluation evidence, it addresses only some of the priority questions within this broad topic.     This guide is the result of a series of workshops conducted in 2009 and 2010 by young people in Romania, India, Mexico and Canada. During these workshops, the authors identified gaps in the information young people have regarding sexual health and drug use. They also identified the best ways to talk about drug use and sexual health among young peers.   15. Sexual and reproductive health and rights, and HIV 101 workshop guide: a guide to facilitating a workshop on linking up HIV and sexual and reproductive health and rights with young key populations

    This facilitator’s guide describes how to plan, deliver and evaluate the workshop effectively. The workshop is designed to take five consecutive days in one week, although it can be adapted for shorter trainings as needed. Each day covers a different area of SRHR and HIV integration, with the order and flow of sessions designed to relate back to each other. The workshop culminates with a site visit and group discussion. Sessions include suggestions, tips and reminders for facilitators, and list materials needed.
