    This companion publication summarizes the guidelines and recommendations contained in the main Policy Guide "Guide for Developing Policies on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights of Young People in Europe". Launched during IPPF European Network's final SAFE conference in Brussels, this policy guide provides a series of broad recommendations intended to guide policymakers and programmers in creating a more youth-friendly SRHR policy environment for young people.

  13. Adolescent and youth sexual and reproductive health : a report on a workshop of the UNFPA in collaboration with the Population Council

    The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), in collaboration with the Population Council, convened a three-day workshop that took place 1-3 May 2002 at the Population Council's headquarters in New York.   14. The case for investing in young people : as part of a national poverty reduction strategy

    This publication focuses on national efforts to reduce poverty and presents seven arguments for why national public policy makers should give more attention to young people, if these efforts are to be successful. This paper offers a conceptual framework to work out what arguments and supporting evidence in relation to young people are likely to be most appropriate to apply in the context of developing or refining a national poverty reduction strategy.     This discussion series is produced by the Health, Nutrition, and Population Family (HNP) of the World Bank's Human Development Network. The series provides a vehicle for publishing preliminary and unpolished result of HNP topics to encourage discussion and debate. This review finds evidence that the effect of many investments on youth differ significantly by income and gender and also by counry context.
