  3. Survey on health seeking behaviour of women working in the entertainment sector in Phnom Penh

    The report on a research study to explore the situation of these indirect sex workers, their needs for STI services and possible barriers to accessing STI services conducted by Pharmaciens sans Frontieres. The study revealed that young women working in karaoke parlours and night-clubs were less likely to be aware of STIs and had limited access to STI treatment services. Some were aware about the transmission and prevention of HIV infection and the use of condom as an effective means of preventing HIV, STIs and pregnancy.   4. HIV/AIDS awareness and behaviour

    The publication highlights findings from a series of a national demographic and health surveys that are directly relevant to AIDS epidemic. It provides a picture of HIV-and-AIDS related awareness and behaviour across countries and population groups, age and gender. Information about risk-related behaviours, their determinants and the context within which they occur has direct relevance targeting of AIDS prevention efforts.

  5. Making it work: linking youth reproductive health and livelihood

    The report presents the result of an analysis of linked programmes. The objectives of the analysis was to assess the challenges and potential effectiveness of programmes integrating adolescent reproductive health and livelihoods, highlight innovative approaches, and define gaps that exist in designing interventions. Assessment of selected programmes was carried out in India, Colombia and Kenya.
