  1. Evaluation of the epidemiological impact of harm reduction programs on HIV in Vietnam

    This impact assessment study aims to examine coverage of harm reduction interventions in Vietnam among injecting drug users and female sex workers from 2004-2009 and to understand the HIV transmission dynamics in Vietnam and to estimate the extent to which harm reduction interventions among core groups have contributed towards epidemiological trends and reduced HIV transmission in Vietnam during the 2004-2009 strategy.

  2. Youth Visioning for Island Living final reporting on HIV/AIDS awareness in Papua New Guinea (PNG)

    We decided to implement this project here in our province (Western Highlands Province, WHP) among 30 institutions due to the fact that there is no decrease to the spread of HIV/AIDS here. HIV/AIDS is on the rise here (PNG) amongst young people. Many young people including schooling teenagers have died of HIV/AIDS. It involves teachers as well, among many who are dying daily in the Province and the country as a whole.     This companion publication summarizes the guidelines and recommendations contained in the main Policy Guide "Guide for Developing Policies on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights of Young People in Europe". Launched during IPPF European Network's final SAFE conference in Brussels, this policy guide provides a series of broad recommendations intended to guide policymakers and programmers in creating a more youth-friendly SRHR policy environment for young people.
