This report provides an overview of Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) survey questions related to alcohol consumption and an analysis of outcomes from these questions in DHS surveys. It first examines the questions on alcohol use and the response categories in all surveys that included questions about ever, typical, or current alcohol consumption. The inventory found that alcohol questions were included in 65 surveys in 42 developing countries between 1987 and 2014, and 19 different questions related to alcohol consumption were identified. …

The Center gathered the experiences of 59 women through a combination of in-depth interviews and focus group discussions. This report proposes specific recommendations to all partners involved in abortion-related issues included the Government of Kenya.
The report presents the result of an analysis of linked programmes. The objectives of the analysis was to assess the challenges and potential effectiveness of programmes integrating adolescent reproductive health and livelihoods, highlight innovative approaches, and define gaps that exist in designing interventions. Assessment of selected programmes was carried out in India, Colombia and Kenya.
