    This booklet is a practical guide on what capacity development is and how we are applying it in UNFPA. The first chapter provides an overview of capacity development and some basic definitions; the second highlights examples of practice in action from the field; and the third consists of a series of tools and resources that we have considered useful when developing and implementing capacity development programmes.
