    Diversity in School offers training on gender, sexuality, and ethnic (race) relations for teaching professionals. The resource, originally delivered in Brazil, was the result of a partnership between the Brazilian Government’s Special Secretariat for Policies on Women, the Special Secretariat for the Promotion of Policies on Racial Equality (SEPPIR/PR), the Brazilian Ministry of Education, the British Council and the Latin American Centre on Sexuality and Human Rights.     Addressing Homophobia in Relation to HIV/AIDS in Aboriginal Communities (AHRHAAC) is a project of the Canadian Aboriginal AIDS Network (CAAN). AHRHAAC was created to look at how organizations serving Aboriginal people can help to create supportive and nonjudgmental environments for two-spirit people living with HIV/AIDS through the development of policies that address homophobia and by raising awareness in Aboriginal communities on how to address homophobia when it is a barrier to HIV/AIDS prevention and education. …

    Esta pesquisa teve por objetivo identificar aspectos culturais e psicossociais associados às vulnerabilidades de jovens afrodescendentes e brancos, no Brasil e na França, ao HIV/Aids. A pesquisa foi realizada em duas etapas: a primeira, qualitativa, com 36 entrevistas a estudantes do ensino médio no Brasil com o objetivo de fornecer elementos indicadores sobre a vulnerabilidade, conhecimentos e Representações Sociais da aids dos jovens brasileiros, além de indicar elementos para a elaboração de um questionário a ser aplicado na segunda etapa. …
