  1. LGBT action plan 2018: improving the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people

    With over 75 commitments, the cross-Government plan sets out how the Government will improve the lives of LGBT people. Some of the key actions include: Appointing a national LGBT health adviser to provide leadership on reducing the health inequalities that LGBT people face; Extending the anti-homophobic, biphobic and transphobic bullying programme in schools; Bringing forward proposals to end the practice of conversion therapy in the UK; and Taking further action on LGBT hate crime – improving the recording and reporting of, and police response to, hate crime.

  2. Lesbian teachers' identity, power and the public/private boundary

    This article examines lesbian teachers' negotiation of the public/private boundary in the school, focusing on identity management in the context of the heterosexualised space of this public institution. The study is based on interviews conducted with six lesbian teachers working in London secondary schools.   3. NCB Your Life leaflets: Guides for people with HIV in their teens and early adulthood

    NCB has produced six Your Life leaflets for young people who have HIV and are aged between about 13 and 25. Most of the leaflets include stories from young people living with HIV, and all contain links to other sources of information and support. - Life Looking Forward.
