    The IIEP HIV/AIDS Forum was conceived with two themes in mind - of information sharing and of community building. It aimed to create a virtual network of education professionals working against HIV/AIDS, while promoting the exchange of successful interventions, and establishing consistency within programme development.     This draft presents mains goals and objectives of the second National Strategic Frameword (NSF) against AIDS (2010-2015). The NSF II provides a common outline and infrastructure for developing the multisectoral National Strategic Plan (NSP). This process fosters the greatest potential to achieving effective control of the HIV epidemic by reducing new infections, providing equitable care and support for those infected and affected, and mitigating the impact of HIV/AIDS.   8. National and sector HIV/AIDS policies in the member states of the Southern Africa Development Community

    This report is a summary of the existing HIV/AIDS national policies and plans among countries in SADC. It is intended to provide a snapshot of the current status of policy formulation in the region and to suggest future steps to strengthen the policy environment for an effective response to the epidemic. Much of the information in this report is derived from national HIV/AIDS policies, strategic plans, HIV/AIDS policies for specific sectors and work plans.
