    This analysis has been carried out in preparation for a conference of the Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA). The purpose of the analysis is to provide a coherent and comprehensive picture of the outcomes of meetings on HIV/AIDS and education in Africa held over the period December 1999 - June 2001.
