    This study was aimed at assessing the perception of students, teachers and perception in Calabar south local government area of Cross River State, Nigeria. A cross sectional survey was employed and a structured questionnaire was used to generate both qualitative and quantitative data from 850 respondents using the multi-stage stratified sampling technique.   7. Sexuality education in Australian secondary schools 2010. Results of the 1st national survey of Australian secondary teachers of sexuality education

    The 1st National Survey of Secondary Teachers of Sexuality Education involved nearly 300 secondary school teachers from every jurisdiction in Australia including government, Catholic and independent schools. The key findings are arranged under the themes of teaching workforce, the content of sexuality education, barriers and support, teachers’ views and opinions and school policy requirements.

    Almost 1,500 school leaders, school governors and parents of school-aged children were asked for their views on the current provision of SRE and how the topic should be delivered in future.     This article discusses the controversy and challenges that surrounded providing sex education in the U.S., including the Franklin Country (North Carolina) school board ordering the removal of textbook chapters dealing with sexual behavior, contraception, HIV/AIDs, and STIs from 9th graders health textbooks, and the state requirement to promote abstinence until marriage. It discusses the abstinence only movement and reviews efforts to undermine sexuality education dating back to the 1960s, while also providing the teachers' perspectives and difficulties faced. …

    Descripción de la experiencia de la Institución Educativa Agroecológico Amazónico Buinaima al participar en el proyecto gubernamental "Educación para la Sexualidad y Construcción de Ciudadanía", que consiste en reformulamiento de la malla curricular para reforzar la educación sexual y convivencia escolar, así como la violencia intrafamiliar.
