  2. Respuesta al VIH, sida e infecciones de transmisión sexual: Plan Estratégico Nacional 2018-2021

    La Dirección de Sida, ETS, Hepatitis y TBC (DSETSHyT), conjuntamente con ONUSIDA, OPS y UNICEF, conformaron un equipo de trabajo y seguimiento del proceso que incluyó la selección y contratación de dos consultores. Se decidió desarrollar tres planes estratégicos, cada uno con su marco de monitoreo y evaluación: el plan de VIH e ITS; el de hepatitis y el de tuberculosis. El periodo de dichos planes es de cuatro años, entre 2018 y 2021.

    Cette stratégie vise à contribuer à l'atteinte du résultat attendu stipulé dans le Plan national stratégique multisectoriel de lutte contre le VIH/Sida et dans son plan de suivi : "Une réduction globale du niveau de transmission du VIH, toutes sources confondues - d'ici 2015".   8. Assessment of the psychometric properties of HIV knowledge items across five countries

    HIV knowledge is commonly measured in HIV prevention research and program evaluations, but rigorous measurement standards are not always applied. Using item response theory methods, we examined the psychometric functioning of five commonly used HIV knowledge questions in five countries with varying HIV prevalence. We evaluated the internal consistency and measurement invariance of the items. The items performed poorly in all samples and the scale as a whole did not perform equally across samples. …

    The HIV/AIDS pandemic disproportionately afflicts regions of the world that have minimal access to formal schooling and low literacy rates. Health educational interventions are difficult to evaluate efficiently in these settings because standard approaches such as written questionnaires cannot easily be employed.   14. The beginning of the end? Tracking global commitments on AIDS

    ONE has prepared this accountability report to monitor progress made towards the beginning of the end of AIDS. Specifically, the report tracks progress made on three key targets–the virtual elimination of mother-to-child transmission, 15 million people on treatment, and the drastic reduction of new HIV infections–and assesses the political, programmatic, and financial contributions made by a variety of stakeholders (traditional donors, African leadership, emerging economies, and the NGO/private sectors).
