  1. Sexual and reproductive health of adolescents and youth in Cambodia: analysis of 2000-2014 Cambodia Demographic and Health survey data

    This report presents findings from a secondary analysis of four waves of the Cambodia Demographic and Health Surveys, 2000 to 2014, with support from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and Australian in Cambodia. One aim of this report was to describe the current state of the sexual and reproductive health of adolescents and youth in Cambodia and this was achieved through the analysis of data on young women aged 15-24 years from the four Cambodian Demographic and Health Surveys (CDHS) conducted in 2000, 2005, 2010 and 2014. …

  2. Nepal: support communication to enhance young mothers' reproductive health

    This study was undertaken as part of a reproductive health project implemented by the Nepal Red Cross Society (NRCS) and the Center for Development and Population Activities (CEDPA), sought to improve social norms that leave young women vulnerable to health risks related to early marriage and childbearing and limited access to reproductive health services. It was found that communication-based support to mothersÆ groups and newly formed youth communication groups improved reproductive health knowledge and behavior among young married women in Nepal.

  9. Lao reproductive health survey 2000 (LRHS 2000)

    The LRHS 2000, funded by UNFPA was undertaken with the purpose of providing up-to-date information on fertility levels, determinants of fertility, fertility preferences, family planning, infant and child mortality, reproductive health and child health, including breastfeeding, and knowledge of RTIs/STDs and HIV/AIDS. The information is intended to assist policy makers and programme managers in planning, designing, managing and evaluating programmes. It is also meant to improve birth spacing/family planning services in the country.
