    On Course will assist governments, civil society and other HIV actors to make clear, concerted and sustainable efforts to address multi-dimensional gender and human rights issues in their national HIV efforts and support increased capacity to achieve gender equality results. On Course is designed to be used in a multiplicity of HIV strategy and planning contexts, whether standalone, integrated into the health sector plans, or developed as elements of other national plans and process (development plans, poverty reduction plans, gender action plans, etc.).

    The purposes of this report are to: (1) help advocates and policymakers better understand the reproductive health cost estimates currently in circulation; (2) build advocates' and policy-makers' confidence in using estimates that reflect the specific needs they seek to address; and (3) promote more consistent use of the same numbers for the same purposes, particularly among financial requests to policy-makers including donors.     This document provides guidance for incorporating activities directed at infants and young children into HIV/AIDS programs in Africa. Effective, broad-scale interventions to assure the healthy physical, emotional, and cognitive development of young children are desperately needed in Sub-Saharan Africa and must be an essential component of any well-designed, integrated program to prevent and reduce the impact of HIV/AIDS in Africa.     This document presents the Declaration adopted by consensus at the end of the first international meeting of organizations for the provision of funding for HIV/AIDS control.
