  1. Cook Islands: integrated national strategic plan for sexual and reproductive health, 2014-2018

    The NSP Working Group met from June 2012 to October 2013 and identified the following priority areas for the Cook Islands Integrated National Strategic Plan for Sexual and Reproductive Health. These priority areas are integrated with each other and not prioritised within themselves; each is as important as the others: leadership and policies, prevention and gender rights, program integration, comprehensive management of STIs and family planning, reproductive health and gender based violence.

  2. The national sexual and reproductive health policy

    The policy is developed as an integral part of the National Development Policy, "Vision 2020" and The White Paper on Health Sector Development and Reform of 2002. It also responds to the recommendations of the National Youth and Gender Policies. It provides the guiding principles and appropriate strategies for planning, allocation of resources, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the Sexual and reproductive Health services.

  3. National policy on sexual and reproductive health

    The high maternal mortality rate, high adolescent fertility rate, unmet need for family planning, and on-going problems with sexual and gender based violence are some of the indicators that highlight a need for comprehensive sexuality education and evidence based interventions.   4. The national sexual and reproductive health strategy and plan of action 2009-2015

  5. National sexual and reproductive health policy

    The goal of this policy is to reduce the burden of morbidity and mortality attributed to sexual and reproductive conditions. The objectives are: 1. To provide essential sexual and reproductive health services, includes emergency obstetric and neonatal care; 2. To increase access to and utilization of sexual and reproductive health services; 3. To improve the quality of sexual and reproductive health services; 4. To ensure sustainable financing and effective management systems for sexual and reproductive health services.

  6. National strategy for reproductive and sexual health in Cambodia 2006-2010

    The Ministry of Health (MOH) developed the national strategy for reproductive and sexual health in Cambodia (2006-2010) to ensure an effective and coordinated response to reproductive health needs in the country. This strategy builds on the national safe motherhood action plan (2001-2005), birth spacing policy (1995), and abortion law (1997) [26-28]. It draws from the national policy on infant and young child feeding practices (2002) and the health sector strategic plan (2003-2007) with its minimum and complementary packages of services. …

    In Botswana, the development and implementation of the Programme of Action on Male Involvement falls within the framework of the Government of Botswana and UNFPA programme of Assistance (2003-2007), whose overall goal is to support the quality of life of the people of Botswana.
