    This is the eighth in the annual ‘Because I am a Girl’ report series, published by Plan, which assesses the current state of the world’s girls. While women and children are recognised in policy and planning, girls’ needs and rights are often ignored.   4. Mujeres que viven con VIH/SIDA y servicios de salud: Recomendaciones para mejorar la calidad de la atención

    Estudio basado en entrevistas sobre la situación de las mujeres que viven con el VIH y su experiencia con los servicios de salud en México. Se aportan elementos para movilizar y mejorar la respuesta a los problemas surgidos de la epidemia por VIH/SIDA en mujeres, se exploran factores relacionados con la disponibilidad, acceso, efectividad y vacíos en materia de servicios para mujeres. Este texto busca dar cuenta de los hallazgos, reflexiones y recomendaciones derivadas a partir de la documentación y análisis de experiencias de mujeres mexicanas que viven con VIH/SIDA.
