The HIV/AIDS Policy for the National Education System of Papua New Guinea has been widely distributed throughout the country. Papua New Guinea's National Strategic Plan on HIV/AIDS 2006-2010 (NSP) recognised that gender is a key factor shaping both the epidemic and the national response to it.
