    This book is intended to help young people affected by HIV and AIDS to care for others while protecting and caring for themselves at the same time.     El estudio se basa en la historia de una madre adolescente de la calle que vive con SIDA. Muestra la situación de los derechos humanos de los niños (as) y adolescentes y en especial los derechos sexuales y reproductivos de las madres adolescentes en estado de abandono, como así también las escasas respuestas socio-institucionales frente a la epidemia. Se presenta un análisis del marco legal relativo a los derechos humanos de los adolescentes y el VIH/SIDA en Venezuela.

  8. AIDS: what young people think about it; educational practices and policies

    This publication is the result of the project funded by the UNAIDS Young People Commitment and CO-Responsibility in Preventing the Spread of HIV and AIDS. The primary objective is to include the perceptions of youth in the formulation and implementation of HIV and AIDS policies, thereby enhancing the involvement of youth in the containment of the epidemic. It is therefore intended to raise awareness by promoting strategies to respond to the HIV and AIDS epidemic, taking into account the participation of youth in the policy-making process and the implementation of preventive efforts.
