    This paper discusses the Cuban approach to HIV, which like the nation's public health system, is founded on the principal that health is a human right.   8. Juventudes, Raça e Vulnerabilidades

    No Brasil, existe cerca de 31 milhões de jovens entre 16 e 24 anos, o que representa 18% da população total do país (IBGE, 2002). Destes jovens, muitos não têm acesso a informações e serviços adequados ao atendimento à sexualidade e a saúde reprodutiva que os estimulem a tomar decisões de maneira livre e responsável.
