  4. Philippines National Policy and Strategic Framework on Male Involvement in Reproductive Health

    Considering that male involvement in reproductive health is critical to the success of the RH programs, with a positive impact on the health and well-being of women and children, and in line with the country's commitment to achieve the Millennium Development Goals, it is deemed imperative to systematically respond to this issue as well as address their specific reproductive health concerns such as sexual dysfunctions, androgen deficiency, testicular and prostate cancers. Thus, this National Policy and Strategic Framework on Male Involvement in Reproductive Health is hereby formulated.

  5. A survey report on information needs assessment on ARH in selected countries in Asia and the Pacific

    This report is the outcome of a survey conducted in May 2004 among programmes/projects or organizations with Adolescent Reproductive and Sexual Health (ARSH) activities, UNFPA's country offices in the Asia and the Pacific region and other partners.   7. STI/HIV: sexually transmitted infections: briefing kit for teachers

    This briefing kit is for teachers. It was designed to inform teachers about STIs and their consequences for the health of young people. It aims to increase the capacity of teachers to provide accurate and appropriate information on STI. The kit consists of 4 sections. Section 1: Understanding Sexually Transmitted Infections. Section 2: STI Education. Section 3: Understanding Young People's Behaviour and Section 4: Teaching STI Prevention. The briefing kit has an annex consisting of a comprehensive list of resources for STI education.
