  1. How to reach young adolescents: A toolkit for educating 10 - 14 year olds on sexual and reproductive health

    This toolkit was designed to be used by implementors such as experienced programme staff from NGOs, government offices or private industries who want to implement an SRH project for 10-14 year olds enrolled in primary school. The project activities within the toolkit rely on the implementor creating a strong partnership with local schools and community leaders. The toolkit presents several overlapping approaches to increase young adolescents’ sexual and reproductive health knowledge and improve their sexual behaviours.

    This is a report of the national exercise undertaken to programmatically and geo-map HIV/AIDS stakeholders and services in order to redirect intervention focus and resources for the national response. The stakeholders in this mapping include civil society organizations, central and local government departments and other agencies involved in service provision. This exercise is focused on mapping of stakeholders by locating their physical address (presence), activity scope (interventions) and areas and beneficiaries covered by their interventions.

  4. Clinic assessment of youth friendly services: a tool for assessing and improving reproductive health services for youth

    The tool helps programme managers and clinicians determine the extent to which current reproductive health services are youth-friendly. Under the African Youth Alliance Project, Pathfinder conducted baseline assessments in Botswana, Tanzania, Uganda, using this tool.

  5. School health toolkit: The FRESH Framework: Focusing Resources on Effective School Health, Hygiene, and Nutrition Programs: A Toolkit for Task Managers

    A toolkit to assist task managers to prepare quality school health and nutrition programmes as components of World Bank projects. The toolkit is based on Focus Resources on Effective School Health (FRESH) framework of best practices in school health and nutrition. The kit contains specific examples of school health and nutrition components for education; health, nutrition, population; and early childhood development projects.
