    This case study examines Legal Units in Côte d'Ivoire, a network of individuals and resources that can be tapped as needed to protect the rights of children and their families.     This paper is one of a series that deal in greater depth with selected complex issues broached in the Working Paper prepared by UNICEF and International Social Service on Improving Protection for Children without Parental Care: a Call for International Standards.
