    Promising practices from the three focus areas have a crucial role to play in offering leadership, vision, direction and inspiration in stigma mitigation. Faith-based organisations are important institutions in shaping values and attitudes to vulnerable people in society as well as developing appropriate and compassionate responses to social challenges.
