It presents a record of Masiye Camp's development and an analysis of its activities. UNAIDS and UNICEF recognize the potential of the Masiye concept to provide practical psycho-social support for children affected by AIDS on a large scale. Masiye Camp is featuring in an UNAIDS Best Practice publication (UNAIDS 2001) called "Investing in our future: on psychosocial support for children affected by AIDS".
