    Papua New Guinea's National Strategic Plan on HIV/AIDS 2006-2010 (NSP) recognised that gender is a key factor shaping both the epidemic and the national response to it.     The purpose of the NSF is firstly, to articulate, disseminate, and educate the public at large on agreed national priorities and strategies within the scope of Vision 2016. Secondly, it is to provide clear guidance for Ministries, districts, NGOs, and the Private Sector to enable them to work in a collaborative manner in achieving the intended goal of the National Response to HIV/AIDS: to eliminate the incidence of HIV and reduce the impact of AIDS in Botswana.
