    The problem of this study was to investigate the teaching of the integrated topics on drug abuse in the secondary school curriculum as a strategy to wipe out the problem of drug abuse among students in Machakos District, Kenya.   6. Beyond the lesson plan: drug prevention and early intervention

    Schools have a duty to promote children and young people’s wellbeing, and are also required to promote pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development. As part of this they have a responsibility to help young people manage risk, reducing the likelihood they may be harmed by use of legal and illegal drugs.     The main purpose of this study is to conduct a situation-response analysis of the education sector’s response to HIV, drugs and sexual health. The objectives of this review are to: - describe and analyse the situation of HIV and AIDS, drugs and sexual health in Brunei Darussalam; - evaluate the status and scope of the education sector’s response to HIV and AIDS, drugs and sexual health; - identify the scope for improvement and prepare a set of recommendations to strengthen the existing response.
