    Sexuality is part and parcel of students' experiences of schooling manifested in personal friendships, relations and social interaction. These encounters constitute sites within which sexual identities are developed, practiced and actively produced through processes of negotiation.   3. I am the hate that dare not speak its name: dealing with homophobia in secondary schools

    This paper describes the outcomes of a small-scale project involving 19 secondary schools. The project investigated how effectively issues of homophobic bullying and sexualities were addressed through secondary schools' formal policies and areas of the curriculum. Outcomes indicate that sexual orientation was mentioned in two-thirds of Equal Opportunities policies but was not mentioned specifically in any Anti-Bullying policies.     O artigo apresenta um estudo realizado com 1.068 mulheres soropositivas. Os questionários elaborados visavam descrever os aspectos da vida sexual e reprodutiva das entrevistadas, bem como a maneira como elas percebiem o aconselhamento nesta área fornecido pelos Centros de Referências.     O presente artigo apresenta os resultados de uma pesquisa com 250 homens portadores do HIV com vida sexualmente ativa em relaçâo ao cuidado com a sua saúde reprodutiva em centros de referência de Aids, comparando-os com estudos realizados com mulheres portadoras.
