    This publication draws on a two day workshop, Research Method and Pedagogy Using Participatory Visual Methodologies, held 4-5 April 2011 in Port Elizabeth. The workshop focused on visual participatory methodologies used across various disciplinary areas, including education, and particularly HIV and AIDS Education. The sections of this publication include the use of drawing, photovoice and storyboard and the visual ethics.

    Connections is an adolescent and parent programme that helps girls and their mothers to become more confident and comfortable to talk about gender, relationships and sex.     The Sex Education Forum is a unique collaboration of diverse organisations representing children, parents, faith, disability, health and education. We believe thatáall children and young people are entitled to high quality sex and relationships education (SRE), which includes learning about HIV and AIDS. The House of Lords began an ad-hoc Select Committee on HIV and AIDS in the United Kingdom in January 2011 and is due to report in July 2011.
