  1. Our rights matter too: sexual and reproductive health and rights of young key populations in Asia and the Pacific

    This regional report for Asia and the Pacific, provides an overview of the sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) needs, issues, and priorities of young key populations (YKP), i.e. young men who have sex with men, young transgender people, young people injecting drugs, young people who sell sex, and young people living with HIV. The report addresses the gaps in knowledge on the SRHR needs of YKP in the region, offers recommendations based on a regional study, and contributes essential information for policy and advocacy efforts.

  2. Lessons learned from a review of interventions for adolescent and young key populations in Asia Pacific and opportunities for programming

    BACKGROUND: Over a third of new HIV infections globally are among 15-24 year-olds and over 20% among adolescents aged 10-19 years in Asia Pacific.     The term 'Men who have sex with men' frequently shortened to MSM - describes a behaviour rather than a specific group of people. It includes self-identified gay, bisexual, or heterosexual men, many of whom may not consider themselves gay or bisexual including transgender populations.     This manual is designed specifically for improving sexual health of men who practice sexual intercourse with other men. It also serves as a reference for peer and outreach workers. This manual provides basic information on areas such as HIV transmission/prevention, sexually transmitted infections, condoms/lubricants, health issues on transgendered/transsexual, drugs used by men and advices on dealing with issues that may come up concerning being involved with men, and information for treatment, care, and support.

Si bien está enfocado a la realidad mexicana, gran parte de sus contenidos son para lectores de cualquier país.
