    La transmisión del VIH/SIDA refleja la necesidad de desarrollar programas de educación sexual que permitan prevenir el contagio, programas que no estén centrados en la biología genital, como sucede hoy en nuestro sistema educativo.En Chile la discusión se mueve en torno a la pregunta desde dónde abordarla. Al respecto, han sido asumidas diversas posiciones que han impedido realizar en plenitud programas de educación sexual. Cada una de estas posiciones responde a dificultades que, centradas en los adultos, impiden el normal proceso de aproximación al conocimiento.

  11. Skills-based HIV and AIDS/STD prevention in schools in Vietnam

    This project was the main component of the UNICEF-assisted HIV and AIDS prevention project of the Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) that began in 1997. It trained teachers in skills-based health education (also called 'life skills') for HIV and AIDS and other STD prevention, and supported them to implement the new approach in the classroom.
