    The strategy was jointly developed by the Federal Ministry of Health (BMG) and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). By connecting interventions on HIV with those on Hepatitis B and C as well as other sexually transmitted infections (STIs), the strategy aims to create synergies in prevention, diagnosis, testing and care for patients.   3. The National strategy for sexual health and HIV: Better prevention, better services, better sexual health

    This is the first national strategy for sexual health and HIV. It is a strategy that will modernise sexual health and HIV sevices in the United Kingdom. It addresses the rising prevalence of STIs and of HIV. This strategy aims to:- reduce the transmission of HIV and STIs- reduce the prevalence of undiagagnosed HIV and STIs- reduce unintended pregnancy rates- improve health and social care for people living with HIV- reduce the stigma associated with HIV and STIs
