Este artigo problematiza a visão contemporânea dominante sobre a sexualidade, seus proclamados riscos e formas desejadas, contrapondo a ela discursos contra-hegemônicos que surgiram desde a emergência da epidemia de HIV-aids, mas que foram silenciados ou ignorados em prol dos consensos que atendiam às demandas da saúde pública. Utilizamos discursos dissidentes sobre a doença para analisar dados etnográficos sobre travestis que se prostituem, seus clientes e também homens que se relacionam em segredo com outros homens. …
Pesquisa bibliográfica que buscou identificar como os conflitos e sentimentos das mulheres portadoras de HIV/Aids sâ abordados na literatura nacional e os caminhos propostos para uma abordagem de cuidado integral. Os dados foram coletados em novembro de 2006, na base de dados LILACS, utilizando as palavras-chave: mulheres, sentimentos, HIV, Aids, sofrimento, depressâo, e medo como critero de inclussâo o fato de os estudos terem sido divulgados nos ultimos cinco anos. O artigo discute os temas revelação do diagnóstico, adesão e estigma relativos a crianças e adolescentes infectados pelo Vírus da Imunodeficiência Humana (HIV). A revisão da literatura incluiu artigos nacionais e internacionais, publicados a partir do ano 2000, e foi realizada por meio de buscas eletrônicas em bases de dados. Foram selecionados vinte e um artigos, duas dissertações de mestrado e cinco publicações institucionais. Concluiu-se que a revelação do diagnóstico tende a ser postergada pelos cuidadores. …
