    The paper provides in-depth information on the inextricable relationship between HIV/AIDS and human rights, including issues relating to testing, confidentiality, access to treatment/drugs, gender, the workplace, health worker/patient interaction and HIV/AIDS in the family and community and among vulnerable populations such as prisoners and sex workers. It draws extensively from material prepared by UNAIDS and the United Nations Centre for Human Rights (UNCHR), and the International Guidelines on Human Rights.
